I once lived with a Pirate of the Pacific Ocean. This man inspired me to make this sculpture. I was always taken by his sense of adventure and had a few adventures with him myself. He is constructed of many things I found just lying around garages and in old coffee cans in the corner of a few antique shops I came across. His pants are actually from a pair of pants that the Pirate gave to me from Thailand. For the purpose of men of the sea is to find treasures afar. I will always respect my friend the Pirate for his wonderful sense of adventure and hope that the owner of this sculpture will find thier own. Last I heard, he was sailing the Atlantic, fair the well, old friend.
